Race Judicata NWA is a 5k and Fun Run/Walk to benefit Legal Aid of Arkansas on October 20, 2012!
The University of Arkansas School of Law is proud to host the first annual Race Judicata NWA benefitting Legal Aid of Arkansas (LAA). LAA provides free legal assistance in civil matters to thousands of low-income clients each year. Their vision is to improve the lives of low-income Arkansans by championing equal access to justice for all regardless of economic or social circumstances.
For all of the non-lawyers: Res Judicata: A matter finally adjudicated is not to be relitigated. Latin for “the thing adjudged,” is, technically, the final determination of a civil action, including all appeals and rehearings.
